There are times when technology really comes into its own.
At the event Cap Handicaporganized by France Travail to theIMS - Institut Martiniquais du SportFor two days, we had the opportunity to present an original reflection on the role of the motion capture in the world of work.
Invited as the first external speaker at France Travail, Georges-Emmanuel Arnaudartistic director of the association Anisotropyshared with the audience two experimental case studies :
🔹 In the office Two workers, one disabled, the other not, wore full motion capture outfits. Looking at the recorded data alone, no distinction was visible: both trajectories showed efficient, focused, high-performance professionals.
🔹 In the kitchen Once again, the two workers (a chef and a clerk with disabilities) wore full motion capture outfits. The aim of the experiment was to show how motion capture can help analyze and improve the organization of a workspace, while enhancing the skills of each individual.

These experiments, carried out as part of the Xavier Jacollo at 150 m altitudewere significant in more ways than one. A motion capture specialist for over 15 years, Xavier was working for the first time with a disabled performer in a motion capture environment. A new and rich experience, which also reflects one of Anisotropie's vocations: open up new perspectives, even for seasoned professionals, and trigger new impulses.
The audience was convinced, and several players have already approached us to explore these avenues. This meeting confirmed that motion capture, beyond its artistic and heritage uses, can become a powerful tool for :
- l'inclusion of people with disabilities.
- the risk prevention in the workplace,
- the valuing all workers,

It's a new adventure for Anisotropie and the project Ephemeral Sequences. It's in line with our values: inclusiveness, access to culture for all, and the conviction that culture is the key to success. work culture also deserves to be observed, understood and valued.
👉 We now invite all those - institutions, companies, associations - who would like to explore these perspectives with us to get in touch. Together, let's make motion capture a tool for creation, inclusion and transformation.
