What an adventure!
As part of the Ephemeral Sequenceswe continued our collaboration with Charles around itsimmersive virtual reality experiencewhich aims to promote Martinique's heritage. In particular, this creation explores the period of the Occupation and how it was experienced on our territory.

For this new stage, we have organized a double studio session with new participants - artist friends of Charles - as well as the return of our young actor. An opportunity to see, once again, how motion capture can bring together a variety of profiles and offer them an unprecedented creative space.
But this time, the adventure didn't stop at the studio.
For the first time in our creative activities, we also produced Ephemeral Sequencesa on location service ("on location"). The filming took place in a house in the Balatathe former home of the subject of the immersive experience, restored with funds from the Heritage Loto.

A highlight: crossing paths with a historic place of remembrancea restored heritage and the creation of a new digital heritage through immersive technologies. It's heritage in a cube!
We were magnificently welcomed by the owners, who even invited us afterwards to share a convivial moment in the company of the directors of the Netflix production recently filmed in Martinique.

For Georges-Emmanuel ArnaudAnisotropie's artistic director, it's a dream that's taking shape: to see the emergence, through these actions, of a dynamic where heritage and technology meet, where markets that are still in their infancy are sketched out, where fruitful encounters take place and open up new perspectives.
This dynamic feeds our conviction: yes, subsidies are necessary and precious, but our project can and must become self-sufficient (self-sustainable). By creating services, promoting Martinique and its culture, and building a local ecosystem around motion capture and immersive experiences, we're laying the foundations for a future where the association Anisotropy will be able to stand on its own two feet.
One step closer to this vision, and one that fills us with gratitude and enthusiasm.
