An important step has just been taken!
As part of the Ephemeral Sequences, supported by the association Anisotropy, we made our first motion capture service order.

Under the artistic direction and coordination of Charles, artistic director and project manager, a capture session was organized in our studio. For the occasion, we worked with two performers:

  • and a 12-year-old boy, who discovered the fascinating world of motion capture for the first time.
  • a Parallèle 14 alumnus, now a partner in the Séquences Éphémères project,

For us as an association, this session validated the relevance of our approach: make these technologies available in Martinique. She showed how possible it is to bring projects back to our region, keep budgets local, and encourage our partners and fellow citizens to improve their skills. It's also an opening to wider access to digital creation, and a way of using these tools to help promoting intangible heritage.

The experiment is part of a’immersive experience which tells the story of Martinique during the Second World War. A fine way of combining technological innovation and collective memory.

Many thanks to Charles for his confidence. Accustomed to collaborating with internationally renowned studios such as Mocap Lab (Paris) and Weta (New Zealand), He chose to entrust Martinique with the production of his motion capture sequences. A trust that honors us, and fully illustrates the spirit of the Ephemeral Sequences seize the moment, capture the gesture, to transmit and create.
